Loose mechanics can be responsible for machine drift, poor cut quality and stuttering.

There are several ways to isolate mechanical problems:

• Run the machine Drift test
• Mark all pulleys and shafts with a marker to show whether or not they are slipping.
• Run the full Machine test
• Test for Backlash.
